Texas Country singer Robert Earl Keen is scheduled to perform at Harker Heights’ 50th anniversary celebration in September at Dana Peak Park on Lake Stillhouse Hollow.
The city had been pursuing Keen as the headline act for the past couple months. Jerry Bark, director of HH Parks and Recreation who has been overseeing much of the planning for the event, confirmed Tuesday that Keen was on board to perform.
Boland & band headline Stars & Stripes fest
Jason Boland & the Stragglers will be the headline act Saturday at the Stars & Stripes Festival at Carl Levin Park. Josh Michael & The Hawkes will be the opening band at 6, followed by Boland and his band.
